Craft Design Technology Pencil
These pencils have become a firm favourite of Choosing Keeping customers. Officially they are HB but we would more accurately classify them as B.
Unfortunately something Pentel, the manufacturer of this pencil no longer produces for wood cased pencils, the lead contained in this pencil is a mix of polymer and graphite (usually it is clay and graphite) The use of polymer as binding agent gives the pencil a unique smooth and slippery feel, unknown in other pencils.
Without taking anything away from the tradition of German pencil making - this pencil does show off the superiority of Japanese manufacturing when it comes to luxury pencils. Even highly regarded Palomino blackwing pencils, despite their all-American story are in fact made in Japan.
Available as singles only - now discontinued this pencil is in limited availability.
