A tremendous and extremely rare find from our buyer, these vintage Platinum fountain pens are available in a extremely limited stock. These were originally put in the Japanese market in the 70's and are a very cute addition to your pen collection with incredibly dainty butterflies for adornment.
The pens have been tested for usability and have no functional issues. Do bear in mind these are 50 year old items which might show signs of aging - for example on some of them the golden nib will have to be polished to regain its golden lustre. They were acquired as deadstock, meaning they are a vintage product which hasn't been inked before.

Three companies dominate Japanese fountain pen making, all established in the 1910's and 1920’s, and all motivated by their common desire to develop a superior Japanese counterpart to their Western competitors such as Waterman and Parker. The main and defining reason for this accolade is the fact that all three companies supervise their production from beginning to end within their very own factories. No subcontracting ensures total quality control, and private ownership protects their original vision and enthusiasm for pen making.

Fine: This is in fact closer to an extra-fine, in the grand tradition of Japanese fountain pens running finer than European ones. The 14k gold nib is engraved with Japanese characters.
