A faithful reproduction of historical playing cards in Russian style - with leaves for spades, bells for diamonds, acorns for clubs, hearts for hearts! (these are the folklorish European precursor symbols to those we now take for granted)
This deck includes numbers 6-10, an ace, and three male face cards, Jack, Cavalier and King per each suit.
A natural progression for our shop and our love of paper, given the parallel narrative between card manufacturing and decorative paper making both utilising the craft knowledge of woodblock print.
