Koh-i-Noor natural rubber Elephant erasers

We identify this eraser design as one of the earliest, as far back as 1890. Rectangular in shape and illustrating and elephant, sometimes a whale in the German alter-ego. Even Japanese early erasers used this classic design shape and logo. This one is produced by Czech classic pencil maker Koh-i-Noor Hardmuth and made from natural rubber and some pumice for a little bit of grip.
We have opted for the larger sizes, one as a generous erasing tool, the other, totally oversized, is large enough to serve as a paperweight weighing over 300g! Have fun...
