This traditional pure gum arabic glue, a natural gum collected from Acacia trees, has been manufactured in Germany, for over 80 years and its presentation and glass bottle are unchanged since the 1940s. The glue is environmentally friendly and can be used safely by children. Equally its natural properties make it an excellent and versatile binder for pigments, particularly watercolours. It is indeed water-solvent, gentle to use on delicate papers, protects colours from fading.
